Pain Management

There are many different medications that can be used independently or in combination to help patients with pain. We have the technology to make transdermal pain medications to decrease stomach upset, bypass the stomach and liver, and place the medication at the origin of the pain. Medications that can be useful in reducing or controlling pain include narcotics, anti-inflammatory agents, and various neuroleptics (medications that affect the pain message sent to the brain by nerves.) We work closely with our patients and their practitioners to custom create the right combination of these medications for optimal pain control.
