Patient Consultation

At Creative Compounds, we are engaged in improving the health of our patients by working with them and their practitioners to design personalized, custom medications that improve therapeutic outcomes.

We offer self-care and hormone consultation appointments that take approximately 60 minutes. For hormone consultations, a saliva test may be helpful in determining hormone doses. During consultations, we collect patient information and make a recommended care plan. Patient health history, family history, personal demographics, symptoms and therapeutic goals are used to create a care plan. If a saliva test is performed (these are done on your own at your home ahead of the consultation appointment) levels of progesterone, estradiol, testoserone, DHEA and cortisol will be evaluated.

The care plan made at a consultation appointment may include a recommendation for prescription medications. We suggest that you ask your practitioner prior to the appointment if he/she is willing to work with you and our compounding pharmacy to carry out this care plan.

Insurance companies occasionally reimburse for consultations. To be certain of coverage, check with your insurance company prior to the appointment.
